The Kitten's Mystery

As a matter of habit, I always wake up on birds' chirppings, regardless of how much I stay  late. But on that day (sunday), and as a matter of exception, a kitten's mews disturbed my peace of sleep.  Yelling, screaming and shouting was she producing repetitively.
She, the kitten, was running to and fro, producing the very same rescuing sounds on and on.  "What can I do to help such a helpless cute baby- kitten? Maybe she's
hungry!" I thought. I offered some cheese and milk, but the kitten refused the offered meal, upending and breaking the dish; and mewing even louder hilariously. "What's up? Perhaps because the kitten can't bear the cold weather that she is screaming!" I soliliquised. I widely opened the door of the house inviting her to come in. However, toing and froing was she screaming, repudiating my invitation.
Confusedly, I sat down on the threshold of my house, trying to demistify the kitten's mystery. Meanwhile, my ear caught another kind of screaming coming from afar; it sounded more mature and responsive. The kitten ran towards the produced sound's spot and I ran after the running kitten to discover the truth: the kitten met her mother. They both left peacefully. And I peacefully went back to my bed.
